The Final Course consists of two Groups comprising of the following papers :

The students are required to undergo the following training:
I. 3 days “Communication and Soft Skills” for Intermediate students
II. Compulsory Computer Training for Intermediate students for 100 hours
III. 7 days “Industry Oriented Training Programme” after enrolling for Final course.
IV. 15 days Modular Training after passing Final course and before campus.
V. Practical training, as provided in regulations.
Offering Organizations:
CMA US: Offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the United States.
CMA India: Offered by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
Focus:
CMA US: The CMA certification from the IMA focuses on global management accounting principles and practices, emphasizing financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics.
CMA India: CMA India from the ICAI emphasizes Indian accounting standards, regulations, and practices along with global management accounting principles.
Recognition:
CMA US: Widely recognized globally, particularly in the United States and North America, but also increasingly accepted internationally.
CMA India: Recognized mainly within India and some neighboring countries, but may not have as much recognition on a global scale as CMA US.
Curriculum:
CMA US: The CMA curriculum covers two parts with topics such as financial reporting, planning, performance, and internal controls, as well as decision analysis, risk management, investment decisions, and professional ethics.
CMA India: The CMA India curriculum also covers similar topics, but with a focus on Indian accounting standards and regulations, making it more tailored to the Indian business environment.
Exam Structure:
CMA US: The CMA exam consists of two parts, each with multiple-choice questions and essay questions.
CMA India: The CMA India exam structure may vary but typically consists of multiple-choice questions and possibly essay questions as well.
Membership:
CMA US: Candidates who pass the CMA exam become members of the IMA and can use the CMA designation.
CMA India: Similarly, candidates who pass the CMA India exam become members of the ICAI and can use the CMA designation.
